Terms and Conditions for DCL TECH

Welcome to DCL TECH ! We are committed to providing top-quality repair services and parts. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Service and Repair Authorization

 

By submitting your device for repair, you authorize our technicians to perform the necessary services. You confirm that you are the legal owner of the device and have the authority to consent to the repair. While we do our best to diagnose issues, the final cost may change if we find additional problems during the repair. We will always notify you and get your approval before proceeding with any new work or cost increase.

 

2. Data and Privacy

 

We understand that your data is important. However, we cannot guarantee its security during the repair process. It is your sole responsibility to back up all data (e.g., photos, contacts, videos, apps) from your device before you bring it in. We are not liable for any data loss or corruption that may occur. Please ensure you have a complete backup before handing over your device.

We will require your device's passcode to test it before and after the repair. If you prefer not to provide it, we can still proceed, but we won't be able to perform a full functionality test. This may impact our ability to verify the repair was successful.

 

3. Pricing and Payment

 

We will provide you with a repair quote before we start any work. This quote includes both parts and labor. A diagnostic fee may apply if we inspect your device and you choose not to proceed with the repair. This fee covers the time and resources we use to identify the problem.

Full payment is due when you pick up your device or when you purchase parts. We accept various forms of payment, which we will specify at the time of service.

 

4. Warranty and Liability

 

We stand by our work. Most repairs come with a limited warranty on the parts we replace and the labor we perform. The warranty period and specific coverage will be detailed on your service receipt. This warranty is voided if the device is:

  • Accidentally damaged after the repair (e.g., drops, liquid spills).

  • Tampered with or repaired by anyone other than our staff.

  • Damaged by an unrelated issue.

Our liability for any damage or loss to your device is limited to the cost of the repair. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.

 

5. Abandoned Devices

 

You must collect your device within 90 days after we notify you that the repair is complete. If you fail to do so, we will consider the device abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of, recycle, or sell the device to cover the cost of the repair and any other outstanding fees. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before this happens.

 

6. Parts Sales

 

We offer high-quality replacement parts for sale. All parts sold without installation by our technicians are on an "as-is" basis and come with no warranty. We do not guarantee that these parts will fix your device or that you will be able to install them correctly.

 

7. Governing Law

 

These terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Your continued use of our services means you accept any changes we make.
